TCS has been at the forefront of designing, implementing and delivering Managed Counselling Services in the UK for the last fourteen years. Originally our services were developed to suit the specialist needs of the NHS and health sector. Principles and standards developed as part of the rollout of these services were incorporated into national guidelines in the 1990’s.
Today the Service remains a significant provider of Counselling Services in the UK and has extended its original focus to include specialist Counselling Services to suit the needs of Schools, Colleges, Universities and Corporate Businesses.
TCS has been influential in working with key researchers and academics in the Counselling world to ensure both that practice keeps abreast of developments in research but also that research is informed by practice experience and vice versa.
The TCS staff team incorporates extensive experience in a range of different counselling models and psychological interventions.
